Re: new here/favorite transformation
Tue, August 17, 2004 - 8:40 AMIs he the one who kinda looked like David Bowie after the makeover? That was a good one.
I don't know if I could pick one that I like more than the others. They're all pretty good. Although, I didn't really get into the wrestling brothers episode. They were punks. -

Tue, August 17, 2004 - 1:20 PMYeah... not good, considering they're roomies. I'd like to see a revisit of that one. Scary! -

Thu, August 19, 2004 - 12:40 PMMy favorite was the one where they made the marine go salsa dancing. I forgot the guys name, but I though that was hilarious.

Thu, August 19, 2004 - 2:42 PMThe wrestling brothers...were total animals. Freaks. I can only imagine how horrified their family and co-workers were to see how these animals live.

Re: new here/favorite transformation
Thu, August 19, 2004 - 4:07 PMThere are very few of the episodes that I couldn't find at least something to like. Off the top of my head, I think my fave transform was George, the Greek guy, back in the first season--mainly because of his darling Mama, though George himself was a sweetie too (and definitely built like a young Greek god).

George was great! I think my favorite was the older man whose wife of 40 years had passed away, and was just starting to re-enter the dating pool with a friend of his sisters. He just seemed so touched by all the attention and the hard work the Fab 5 did for him. -

Re: new here/favorite transformation
Wed, September 1, 2004 - 7:50 AMOk, last night's episode was the sweetest one (so far). We can all relate to being a computer nerd. And that guy was SO hot! How touching it was when he would get teary-eyed for how the Fab 5 helped him out. If I lived in NYC, I would look him up online and start emailing him for a date.
Does anyone remember exactly what Kyan said about "dude, you should draw other things, besides dragons?" -

Re: new here/favorite transformation
Thu, September 2, 2004 - 2:56 PMI don't remember exactly what Kyan said, but that whole sequence where they were looking through the guy's sketch pad cracked me up, mainly because I'd recently seen the movie "Napoleon Dynamite." (For those of you not familiar, it's about an ubergeek high school student from East Bumfuck Idaho who is also an incorrigible sketchpad doodler, whose many odd fantasy drawings include portrayals of mythical beasts farting at each other.)
